The voices of MasterVoices were gloriously heard in Carnegie Hall last night as Artistic Director Ted Sperling, orchestra and chorus brought a concert version of George & Ira Gershwin's Of Thee I Sing to Stern Auditorium.

MasterVoices' star-studded production of the Gershwins' Of Thee I Sing is set for tonight, November 2, at 7:00 p.m. in Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage at Carnegie Hall.

StoryCorps, the non-profit that collects, shares, and preserves the stories of people of all backgrounds, will celebrate the lives it has documented, and people and partners that have helped the organization to do so, in its annual gala, tonight, October 25, at Capitale in New York City.

MCC Theater has announced that this year's Miscast gala, an annual showstopper of the theater season, will honor Tony-winning, three-time Emmy-winning star of stage and screen and MCC alum Laurie Metcalf.

CBS announced today that the fifth season of CBS DREAM TEAM, IT'S EPIC!, the three-hour Today morning block, will premiere Today, Sept. 30 (9:00 AM-12:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

Maestro LUKE FRAZIER and THE AMERICAN POPS ORCHESTRA - Washington, DC's innovative hometown orchestra - will honor the 75th birthday of one of the country's most treasured legends with Respect: The Music of Aretha Franklin to begin their star-studded third season.

The Griffin Theatre Company is pleased to announce it will create and produce a live stage version of the two-time Emmy Award-winning television show, The Henry Ford's Innovation Nation. Adapted by Griffin Artistic Director William Massolia, The Henry Ford's INNOVATION NATION LIVE! will enjoy its world premiere during Griffin's 2018/2019 season, followed by a national tour. Maestro LUKE FRAZIER and THE AMERICAN POPS ORCHESTRA — Washington, DC's innovative hometown orchestra — have announced their all-star 2017-2018 season. The diverse line-up will include a tribute to legendary soul singer Aretha Franklin, a special evening combining yoga with the APO's favorite standards, a new family show based on the classic tale Around the World in 80 Days, and a program celebrating the wit of iconic songwriter Cole Porter. Unless otherwise noted, all shows are at the Orchestra's new home, Arena Stage at The Mead Center for American Theater (1101 Sixth Street SW). Producers Lorne Michaels and Stuart Thompson have announced casting for the world premiere of the Broadway-bound new musical Mean Girls with a book by nine-time Emmy Award winner Tina Fey, based on her screenplay for the Paramount Pictures film; music by three-time Emmy Award winner Jeff Richmond; and lyrics by Tony Award nominee Nell Benjamin. Tony Award winner Casey Nicholaw directs and choreographs.
