Dorks in Dungeons, the critically acclaimed fantasy comedy improv show will continue their adventure on October 12 at 7pm at the Seacoast Rep. Joining them this time is Portsmouth hero and Halloween Parade Grand Marshall Trevor Bartlett. The Dorks will be continuing their ongoing adventure, now in its third year, but this time with a special Halloween theme.
Dorks in Dungeons has announced that they will be joined for their season opener on September 14 by Game of Thrones actor Miltos Yerolemou as guest. Yerolemou portrayed Syrio Forel in the HBO hit series, the swashbuckling, sword-fighting “dancing instructor” to Arya Stark. Yerolemou quickly became a fan favorite for his unique physicality and performance. Yerolemou will serve as a guest improviser, taking an equal spot amongst the Dorks storytellers.
The production is visually stunning, blending live actors, puppets and keenly choreographed movement that breathe life into everyday inanimate objects. The puppetry involves a huge range of ground-breaking techniques and variety of creations - from the smallest mechanical creatures to the huge god-like masks and limbs that represent Oberon and Titania, King and Queen of the Fairies.
Helena's Act II lamentation in A Midsummer Night's Dream, 'O weary night, O long and tedious night, abate thy hours,' is not something anyone will ever say watching the Kennedy Center's current revival. This innovative production uses a synergy of human and puppet interaction to bring alive Shakespeare's timeless classic in a splendid production.

A spare company of twelve actors enacts a large cast of characters with the help of puppets composed of inventive materials ranging from classical masks to simple workmen's tools. A co-production by the U.K.'s Bristol Old Vic and Handspring Puppet Company from South Africa, the production is a visual feast chock full of imaginative surprises.
