On Monday, October 22 at 9:30 PM, Mike Daisey will return to Joe's Pub at The Public Theater to debut new monologues in the first of a series of monthly premieres through March 2013. Each month, Daisey will bring a new, groundbreaking monologue to Joe's Pub for a one-night-only engagement. In October, Daisey will premiere AMERICAN UTOPIAS. Theatre Communications Group (TCG) convened 1,000 theatre practitioners from around the world at its 22nd National Conference June 21-23 in Boston. This year's conference was the culmination of TCG's 50th anniversary and the beginning of TCG's year-round conference and online community, Conference 2.0. The conference theme of Model the Movement invited attendees to transform their field into a movement for the digital age by better sharing, measuring and adapting models of making theatre. Executive Director Teresa Eyring also publically shared for the first time TCG's new vision statement.

Following a successful three-phased fund-raising effort that generated nearly $500,000 from more than 850 donors - almost 600 who donated for the first time - the Actors Theatre Board of Directors has officially raised the curtain on the 2012-13 season including the company's first-ever three-show summerstock schedule.
