The annual Rockers On Broadway concert took place on July 10th at The Cutting Room (19 West 24th Street), right here in New York City.

On Monday, July 10th at The Cutting Room, some of Broadway's best--including Michael Cerveris, Patrick Wilson and Jersey Boys' Christian Hoff, J. Robert Spencer and Daniel Reichard--performed in the 14th annual 'Rockers on Broadway'

Broadway Barks 7, the animal adaptation program co-founded by Bernadette Peters and Mary Tyler Moore, will be held in Shubert Alley on July 30th at 3:30 PM

On February 20th was BROADWAY BEARS VIII at B.B. King Blues Club in support of Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.

A Broadway Benefit for the Red Cross Tsunami Relief Project took place on January 31.

Hosts for the event include the former star of NBC-TV's Ed and Broadway's Urinetown, TOM CAVANAGH; former star of The Monkee's, Disney's Aida, and current CBS-FM radio personality MICKY DOLENZ; and former star of CBS-TV's The Jim Gaffigan Show, and FOX-TV's That 70's Show, comedian JIM GAFFIGAN. Featured Broadway performers include CHRISTOPHER SIEBER (Monty Python's Spamalot/ABC-TV's It's All Relative) ANDREA MCARDLE (original Annie/Les Miserables), STEPHEN BOGARDUS (Falsettos/Tony nominee for Love!Valour!Compassion), and BROOKE TANSLEY (currently starring as Belle in Disney's Beauty and the Beast). Featured Club performers include Dance Diva MARTHA WASH (It's Raining Men) Robbins recording artist and club circuit favorite REINA, and former Broadway diva (co-star of film version Little Shop of Horrors) and current Dance hit recording artist MICHELLE WEEKS.

Elton John & Tim Rice's AIDA begins its final 16 performances at the Palace Theatre (1564 Broadway) tomorrow, Tuesday, August 24 following its triumphant 54-month run on Broadway. AIDA will close on Sunday, September 5 after playing 1,844 performances.

On July 11th, the sixth annual BROADWAY BARKS! took place, a star-studded dog and cat adoption event benefiting New York animal shelters and adoption agencies.
