Broadway Benefit for the Red Cross Tsunami Relief Project January 31
Adam Michaels Productions, in conjunction with Mark Nelson, is proud to announce the Broadway All-Star Benefit for the Red Cross benefiting the Tsunami Relief Project. The event will take place Monday January 31, 2005 from 9pm 12 midnight at Chelsea hot-spot SPLASH Club/Bar. Compelled by the strife of the victims of the Tsunami disaster in Asia and Africa, the Broadway and Club communities have come together to raise much-needed funds for the Red Cross. Executive Producer Adam Michaels and Co-Producer/Director Michael Wallot have pulled together talent from the Broadway stage, Television, Recording Artists and Club Performers in the New York area for a night of amazing and inspirational performances. They encourage every member of these communities to come out, join in the fun, and give generously to this worthy cause. For more info call the number above or email ShowtimeSmile@aol.com.
Hosts for the event include the former star of NBC-TV's Ed and Broadway's Urinetown, TOM CAVANAGH; former star of The Monkee's, Disney's Aida, and current CBS-FM radio personality Micky Dolenz; and former star of CBS-TV's The Jim Gaffigan Show, and FOX-TV's That 70's Show, comedian JIM GAFFIGAN. Featured Broadway performers include Christopher Sieber (Monty Python's Spamalot/ABC-TV's It's All Relative) Andrea McArdle (original Annie/Les Miserables), Stephen Bogardus (Falsettos/Tony nominee for Love!Valour!Compassion), and Brooke Tansley (currently starring as Belle in Disney's Beauty and the Beast). Featured Club performers include Dance Diva MARTHA WASH (It's Raining Men) Robbins recording artist and club circuit favorite REINA, and former Broadway diva (co-star of film version Little Shop of Horrors) and current Dance hit recording artist MICHELLE WEEKS.
Broadway singers scheduled to appear include Nadine Isenegger, Brandon Victor Dixon, Julie Garnye, Anisha Nagarajan, Doreen Montalvo, and Dorothy Bishop who have appeared in the Broadway companies of Hairspray, 42nd Street, Disney's the Lion King, Bombay Dreams, The Color Purple, Hair, Follies, Kiss me Kate, Cats, and Master Class.
Record artists and Club performers scheduled to appear include Quinton Elias, Adam Michaels, Mike Errico, Jenny Bruce, Shavonne Conroy, the Glamazons, Josh Zuckerman, Gemma Bulos, and Audrey Amey.
The Broadway All-Star Benefit for the Red Cross will also feature the sale of raffle tickets for cool Broadway items such as posters and memorabilia, CD's from some of our guest performers, and other surprises! Also on hand will be our hot Broadway Go-Go God's dancing for donations to the cause, and some SURPRISE GUESTS! Tickets can be bought at the door for $20 and your donation includes admission to SPLASH Bar/Club after the event to dance the night away to one of NYC's hottest DJ's Randy Bettis.
This will be a night to remember- as we remember those who have been affected so devastatingly hard by the Tsunami. 100% of the profits from the evening will go directly to the RED CROSS TSUNAMI RELIEF PROJECT. Please join us in lending a hand!
