Over ten years, Sound Unseen has established itself as one of the premiere 'films-on-music' festivals in the country and has become a vital part of the Twin Cities cultural scene. The festival is known for the breadth of its multimedia productions, documentaries, rare concert footage, short films, animation, music videos, gallery exhibitions and dozens of live music events showcasing both local and national acts. In partnership with the Southern, the festival will add cinema installation, live music accompaniments to films, and multimedia performance art to its groundbreaking history.

TheHollywoodReporter reports that 'Mega Python vs. Gatoroid,' Syfy's Debbie Gibson/Tiffany made-for-TV movie, will add another star to its cast: Mickey Dolenz ('The Monkees,' London's HAIRSPRAY). The film is reportedly about to start production.

The producers of "HAIRSPRAY" are delighted to announce that MICKY DOLENZ is to join the cast as loveable, ever-so-slightly crazy-joke shop owner Wilbur Turnblad in the hit musical, currently running at London's Shaftesbury Theatre on Tuesday 2 February 2010. Micky is joined by BRIAN CONLEY, reprising the role of Wilbur's larger than life wife Edna Turnblad and Chloe Hart, who continues her run as their daughter, the show's heroine Tracy.
