Donnie Kehr, Peter Gregus and Good To Go Entertainment proudly announce the 14th annual Rockers On Broadway to take place on Monday July 10th at 8:00pm at The Cutting Room (19 West 24th Street). "It is our mission to bring together the worlds of Rock 'n' Roll and Broadway in a unique and inspiring way, while supporting an important cause, Broadway Cares/Equity fights Aids", says creator Donnie Kehr.

Rockers On Broadway was originally inspired by Pete Townshend during the Broadway run of The Who's Tommy. Pete wanted to give musical theatre performers the opportunity to experience the feeling of singing with a rock band in a concert style venue, so they could understand and transfer the rawness of that edge to the stage. Since the first event in 1993, Rockers has grown to incorporate Broadway and Rockers such as The Divinyls, Micky Dolenz (The Monkeys), Eden Espinoza, Will Chase and many others.

This year's benefit event and the show will feature 2006 Tony Award winners from Jersey Boys- John Lloyd Young and Christian Hoff, as well as Michael Cerveris, Patrick Wilson, Daniel Reichard, J. Robert Spencer, Donnie Kehr, Eden Espinoza, Greg Reuter, Kathy Brier, Des McAnuff, Tituss Burgess, and Micky Dolenz. With Special Guests, The B-52's Fred Schneider, Manfred Mann's Chris Thompson and A Special Reunion Performance with Original Cast Members of The Who's Tommy. (All performances subject to change due to availability.)

Rockers on Broadway will take place on Monday July 10th, 2006 at 8:00pm at The Cutting Room, 19 West 24th Street. Tickets are $25 at the door. All proceeds benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights Aids. For more information contact RockersOnBroadway@gmail.com
