The José Iturbi Foundation proudly sponsored 'A Decade of Dudamel' with the LA Philharmonic at the Hollywood Bowl. BroadwayWorld is saddened to report that Broadway veteran Elizabeth Josephine 'Jo' Sullivan Loesser passed away yesterday, April 28, from heart failure in her New York City Home. She was 91 years old.

However the Pelican did have Michelle Lee at a ringside table and Dick Robinson seizing the moment made his way through the throngs of Michelle fans to give the audience a quick interview with the Broadway, Film, and TV star. I'm sure 'The Old Jock' will be airing it on his Legends Radio stations (100.3FM) and worldwide on the internet in the near future.

The desert's own Bill Clifford will perform 'Broadway, Bill's Way - Part Deux' at the Arthur Newman Theatre in Palm Desert on Sunday, April 7, 2019 at 2 PM as part of the on-going Les Michaels' Cabaret On Sundays Series. With him will be Wayne Abravanel on the baby grand piano. Tickets are $15 cash at the door and the Arthur Newman Theater is located at 73750 Catalina Way in Palm Desert. Doors open at 1 pm and show time is 2 pm.

The shows are slated for Tuesday, February 5th at 7:00PM and Tuesday, February 12th at 7:00PM.
