On Monday, September 22, 2014, The Innovative Theatre Foundation, the organization who for the past 10 years has been dedicated to celebrating Off-Off-Broadway, announced the 2014 recipients at its annual event. Celebrating ten years and thousands of nominees, the New York Innovative Theatre awards took place at Mason Hall at Baruch Performing Arts Center, 17 Lexington Avenue. Previews are Wednesday, September 18 & Thursday, September 19, opening on Friday, September 20. THE DEAD DREAM MACHINE features direction & choreography by Around the World in 80 Days' RACHEL KLEIN & video art direction by Sean Gill. Ben Kato is the lighting designer, with scenic design by Evan Collier, costume design by Juanita Cardenas & the RKP Ensemble Costume Collection, puppet design by Elena Delgado & original music by Sean Hagerty.

Dixon Place presents the world premiere of Rachel Klein's Symphony of Shadows: A Tale from the Land Beyond the Veil, now through June 23 at Dixon Place, New York. This movement-based spectacular tells the story of a woman combating a variety of sleep disorders, phantasmagorical night terrors, hypnotic horrors & other visually stunning conjurings from the subconscious depths of her own disturbed mind. This movement-based spectacular tells the story of a woman combating a variety of sleep disorders, phantasmagorical night terrors, hypnotic horrors, and other, visually stunning conjurings from the subconscious depths of her own disturbed mind. Symphony of Shadows merges striking elements of circus and aerial arts, dance and movement, burlesque, and operatic productions to vividly illustrate its storyline in a genre defying form, which 'evokes a live-action silent film.'

This movement-based spectacular tells the story of a woman combating a variety of sleep disorders, phantasmagorical night terrors, hypnotic horrors & other visually stunning conjurings from the subconscious depths of her own disturbed mind. Symphony of Shadows merges striking elements of circus & aerial arts, dance & movement, burlesque & operatic productions to vividly illustrate its storyline in a genre-defying form which "evokes a live-action silent film." Symphony of Shadows was commissioned by Dixon Place as a world premiere as part of the theater's Monde Cane original works series.

RKP Theater Ensemble opened their theatrical dance piece, The Tragedy of Maria Macabre on Thursday, October 20 at The Wild Project.

The Tragedy of Maria Macabre is a theatrical dance piece inspired by 19th century European Circus imagery, silent horror films, and el Dia de los Muertos. The story begins at the end of the life of our twisted heroine, Miss Macabre.

GO-GO KILLERS: SUCKER PUNCH will feature a preview performance by the cast of the retro-futuristic, ass-kicking new play, Go-Go Killers, written by Sean Gill and Directed & Choreographed by Rachel Klein, playing at The Sage Theater (711 Seventh Avenue, 2nd floor), May 8-30. Actors featured in this special performance will include Elizabeth Stewart, Kari Warchock, Jillaine Gill, Reagan Wilson, Leasen Almquist, Dana Perry, Dasha Kittredge, Megan O'Connor, Robyn Nielsen, Michael Porsche, and B-Movie Star, Kevin G.
