ALTAR BOYZ opened Off-Broadway at Stage 4 of Dodger Stages on March 1, 2005. The award-winning, hit musical comedy closed after 2,032 regular performances on January 10, 2010. For two very special performances at 54 Below on March 1, 2015, actors who played the now iconic fictional Christian boy band took to the stage to celebrate the show's 10th anniversary with pizzazz, wit, and a whole lot of harmonizing.

Broadway shows, other scheduled events and most of New York City shut down last night in preparation for the blizzard predicted to be one of the City's worst winter storms ever. This did not deter Broadway icon Chita Rivera, her musicians or the producers at THIRTEEN who had previously scheduled a concert taping for January 26. THIRTEEN is producing Great Performances: Chita Rivera, a special retrospective to celebrate Ms. Rivera's extraordinary career then and now for broadcast as part of PBS' Fall Arts Festival 2015.

Yellow Sound Label Releases BD Wong's HERRINGBONE Today

YELLOW SOUND LABEL will release HERRINGBONE, the two-disc solo CD debut by Tony Award-winner BD WONG. The unique concert album marks the recording premiere of the marvelously spooky one-man Off-Broadway musical, which features book by Tom Cone, music by Skip Kennon and lyrics by Ellen Fitzhugh (based on the play by Tom Cone), with Wong playing twelve characters. It was recorded live at a special event at Dixon Place in New York City. The album - produced by Scott Lehrer with Emmy Award-winner and Grammy Award-nominee Michael Croiter (Matilda, Big Fish, Heathers) serving as executive producer and Dan Lipton as musical director and associate producer - will be available online and in stores today, December 2.
