Broadway's 40 theatres aren't the only places to catch performances from your favorite stars! Well after Broadway orchestra's begin their overtures, ensemble members take their dance breaks, and performers belt out their eleven- o'clock numbers, the party continues at various cabaret venues throughout New York City. Julie Halston Hosts the Fifth Annual "Broadway Belts for PFF"

The Broadway at Birdland concert series is proud to announce that Julie Halston will host the fifth annual Broadway Belts for PFF, a benefit for the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation, on Monday, February 23 at 7pm.

Ms. Halston has been a spokeswoman and activist for Pulmonary Fibrosis ever since her husband (broadcaster Ralph Howard) was diagnosed with the disease in 2008.

Directed by Carl Andress and Musical Directed by Christopher McGovern, the evening will feature some of Broadway's biggest stars belting out showstoppers, including Annaleigh Ashford, Erich Bergen, Robert Creighton, Randy Graff, Patti Murin, and Betsy Wolfe. Over the past two years, this sold-out event has raised over $200,000 for the PFF, and has featured surprise guests such as Liza Minnelli and Joel Grey.

All funds go toward the Michael Kuchwara Fund for Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis Research, Education and Advocacy in honor of the late and beloved Associated Press theater critic and reporter.

Georgia Stitt will be joining as music director for the night. Bushel and a Peck is dedicated to enriching the lives of toddlers and young children by providing scholarships, high quality educational resources, and by supporting creative and healthy learning environments.
