Olathe Civic Theatre Association (OCTA) has announced its 2016-17 season five-show lineup, which will kick off August 26, 2016.

Chita Rivera has postponed her engagement at the Cafe Carlyle, originally scheduled for January 12-23 to April 19-30 due to an injury she sustained over the Christmas holiday, BroadwayWorld has confirmed. Following a fall, it was discovered that she has a pelvic stress fracture.

Cafe Carlyle is pleased to welcome Broadway legend Chita Rivera for a two-week engagement, January 12-23, to open the Cafe Carlyle winter season.

It was announced today that The Visit, which will open tonight, Thursday, April 23rd as the final musical of the 2014-2015 Broadway season, will record its cast album. The Visit is the final musical ever written by legendary Oscar Award®, Grammy Award® and Tony Award®-winning composer John Kander and his writing partner lyricist Fred Ebb, before Mr. Ebb passed away.

ANIKA LARSEN, the 2014 Tony Award nominee and Drama Desk Award winner currently starring on Broadway in Beautiful -- The Carole King Musical, will introduce her debut solo CD Sing you to Sleep with a special concert at Birdland Jazz Club as part of the 'Broadway at Birdland' series tonight, March 23 at 7:00 PM. ALTAR BOYZ opened Off-Broadway at Stage 4 of Dodger Stages on March 1, 2005. The award-winning, hit musical comedy closed after 2,032 regular performances on January 10, 2010. For two very special performances at 54 Below on March 1, 2015, actors who played the now iconic fictional Christian boy band took to the stage to celebrate the show's 10th anniversary with pizzazz, wit, and a whole lot of harmonizing.
