Jordan's Furniture Named Community Outreach Partner for OSTC's 2014-15 Family Fun Fest

Ocean State Theatre Company (OSTC), which recently opened its third season in its state-of-the-art theatre in Warwick, is pleased to announce that Jordan's Furniture will be supporting OSTC's 2014-15 Family Fun Fest as a Community Outreach Partner. This partnership will help underserved and underprivileged children enjoy a shared family experience through underwritten ticket opportunities to performances of OSTC's popular children's series.

Fillmore Live Entertainment Group Acquires Yoshi's San Francisco

Yoshi's San Francisco, the Jazz Club & Japanese Restaurant which opened in the Historic Fillmore District in November 2007, has been sold to a new ownership group, Fillmore Live Entertainment Group, LLC. The new ownership group has infused new capital and is committed to ensuring that this will be a seamless and successful transition from one ownership group to the other. Fillmore Live Entertainment Group, which has retained Bob Burke of Ovation Consulting Restaurant + Hospitality to oversee operations, will take over Yoshi's San Francisco on Tuesday, July 1, 2014.

PS122 Announces New Residency Program RAMP

Performance Space 122 (PS122) announces RAMP, a new residency program designed to support early career artists. The residencies, to be held at The Chain Theatre (21-28 45th Rd.) in Long Island City, provide New York City-based artists with the resources to create ambitious new work. In addition to rehearsal space, RAMP will offer technical assistance, commissioning fees and marketing support. The intention of RAMP is to begin an ongoing relationship with a select group of artists, which may lead to large-scale presentations. The inaugural year of RAMP artists are the choreographic duo of Molly Lieber and Eleanor Smith, musician Eliot Krimsky and his progressive-indie band Glass Ghost, and theater artist Kaneza Schaal.

In Episode 204, award-winning musical theatre writer Joel B. New sat down with esteemed colleague Nathan Siler (www.nathansiler.com), a composer, arranger, multi-instrumentalist, and vocalist. Nathan's project, Portraiture, released their debut LP, 'Real as Ritual', last year. In his vast career, he has supported, produced, and toured with renowned indies such as The Lovely Sparrows, Steve Burns and the Struggle, and Brothers NYC. As a classical singer, Mr. Siler has performed at Carnegie Hall with American Symphony Orchestra and the Collegiate Chorale and is a soloist in the acclaimed chamber choir Musica Viva of New York, and he fosters a close relationship with up and coming composers, singing for many premieres of music in the NYC Classical scene.

Art of Time Ensemble to Present SCHUBERT: SOURCE & INSPIRATION, 4/5-6
