Set in a world where all musicals are movie adaptations, Movies, Musicals, and Me is a career retrospective cabaret of Broadway star-- nay, legend-- Halpert Evans (played by Al Fallick). He and his loyal accompanist, Courtney (Clark Baxtresser), perform for you songs from such fictional Broadway smashes as FORREST GUMP: THE MUSICAL, THE TERMINATOR: THE MUSICAL, THE SOCIAL NETWORK: THE MUSICAL, and more. NBC's Trailblazing Program for Emerging Diverse Late Night Writers Names 2018 Class

Now in its sixth year, NBC's trailblazing program for emerging diverse late night and sketch comedy writers has named its 2018 class of writers. Alyssa Feller, Jonathan Giles, Michael Hartney, John Mahone, Cameron Smith, Natasha Vaynblat and Bryan Yang were chosen to be the new class of the network's annual Late Night Writer's Workshop, the industry's only initiative dedicated to discovering and developing late night and sketch comedy writers of diverse backgrounds. Chosen from 1,000 applicants, the new class will participate in an intensive six-day program this month that will ready them to be staff writers on late night and sketch comedy shows.

Craft Your Truth Works with LGBTQ Homeless Youth to Tell Their Stories

Craft Your Truth, an organization that encourages and empowers LGBTQ youth to share their unique stories, is partnering with local NYC nonprofit New Alternatives for a day-long workshop culminating in a fundraising benefit performance. New Alternatives provides a range of services designed to help LGBTQ+ youth succeed in transitioning to stable adult lives and welcomes all youth as they are with no barriers to entry. For this event, Craft Your Truth is excited to be teaming up with Caveat, a Lower East Side venue dedicated to intelligent nightlife.
