Noel Coward's HAY FEVER Begins Previews at Stratford Festival

Last season, the Stratford Festival staged a wildly popular production of Noel Coward's Blithe Spirit; this season, another Coward classic will be presented at the Avon Theatre, the outrageously witty Hay Fever. Directed by Alisa Palmer, this hilarious comedy began previews on Wednesday and officially opens on Thursday, June 19.

The McCallum Theatre and the Rabobank Broadway Blockbuster Series present the national tour of Man of LaMancha for five performances, Friday, January 24, through Sunday, January 26. Man of La Mancha returns in an all-new production complete with the Tony Award winning score and book that has inspired theatregoers since the very first note of 'The Impossible Dream' was heard on opening night. Enter the mind and the world of Don Quixote as he pursues his quest for the impossible dream. Against all odds, a man sees good and innocence in a world filled with darkness and despair. This lyrical and amusing adventure is a classic tale of the triumph of man over his own follies. The original Broadway production ran for 2,328 and won five Tony Awards, including 'Best Musical' and Man of LaMancha remains one of the most enduring works of musical theatre.

When Pop Icon Michael Jackson put his stamp of approval on Larry Hart's award winning, critically acclaimed musical, 'Sisterella', he probably would have never imagined his young nephew TJ Jackson would one day grow up to star in the role that was originally developed for him. When TJ Jackson steps into the role of Prince Jean Luc, he will be fulfilling part of his famous uncle's Legacy to American theater. Sisterella, was originally developed by it's author Larry Hart at MJJ Music, with Jackson in mind to play the Prince. 'We were going through Sisterella archives a few weeks ago and found those original Costume sketches for Michael' Hart said, 'it was a surreal, bittersweet moment. Michael loved Sisterella, and at the time was looking for a creative role in Theater.

Tiny Theater is a performance festival that aims to include theater, dance, multi-media, puppetry, etc. Works are no longer than 10 minutes and are presented festival style in a 6' x 6' x 6' box constructed of PVC pipe-performers and scenic elements must not exist outside the box at any point during each piece.
