Organised Chaos Productions announce the launch of their fourth annual Script Call. Organised Chaos has also reveal that the two selected shows will debut with a short run at The Lowry in the spring of 2013 with further dates throughout the North West to be confirmed.

Two scripts were chosen from their third Script Call in 2011 – Bottled Wasps by Paul Buie and After Words by Michael Hart. Both of these will debut in Manchester in 2012 (April and May) before going out on a North West tour in the autumn. These productions have gained Grants For The Arts funding through the Arts Council.

During 2010 and 2011 Organised Chaos produced the debut of seven new plays to sell out audiences in Manchester and in venues across the North West. All of the shows debuted in Manchester with subsequent performances at The Lowry, The Continental, Lantern Theatre, Pavilion Arts Centre, Square Chapel, Write Now Festival (Liverpool), Buxton Fringe Festival, Preston Tringe Festival, and New Wimbledon Theatre, London.

The Script Call is for original, production ready, work that has not previously been produced. Pieces need to be suitable for a studio space, have a cast of between 1 and 6 with a running time of no longer than 60 minutes. If your play is selected Organised Chaos will produce the debut of your play, plan and produce future performances and help get relevant industry people to watch your play.
