Mazeppa Productions is the first resident theater company in Philadelphia to bring the 2006 Tony Award-winning musical Spring Awakeningto life. Opening tonight, July 12, 2012, Spring Awakening marks the start of Mazeppa's second season of musical production as well as its inaugural production at the Christ Church Neighborhood House Theatre in Old City, Philadelphia. Director Rob Henry, music director Jerry Kapral, and choreographer Dawn Morningstar lead the cast of thirteen in staging the Duncan Sheik/Steven Sater musical. Spring Awakening runs through July 28, 2012 at the Christ Church Neighborhood House Theatre at 20 North American Street, Philadelphia. Advance tickets are $20 and can be purchased at www.mazeppaproductions.org. Tickets at the door are $25.
