Spinning Tree Theatre presents the Kansas City premiere of Hello Again, with words and music by Michael John LaChiusa, suggested by the play La Ronde by Arthur Schnitzler. The production is directed by Michael Grayman and Andy Parkhurst.

The cast features Julie Shaw as The Whore, Jacob Aaron Cullum as The Soldier, Shelby Floyd as The Nurse, Steven Eubank as The College Boy, Stefanie Wienecke as The Young Wife, Jerry Jay Cranford as The Husband, Tyler Eisenreich as The Young Thing, Seth Jones as The Writer, Lena Andrews as The Actress, and Charles Fugate as The Senator.

Suggested by an 1897 Viennese play, Spinning Tree Theatre's production of Hello Again ("the best original musical of the season," The New York Times) celebrates this smart, sexy musical's 20th anniversary. This adult musical fantasy is about the search for one's perfect lover. Four-time Tony Award nominee Michael John LaChiusa sets - physically and musically - each of ten scenes in a different decade of the 20th century. Seductive, entrancing, and darkly comical, Hello Again is Spinning Tree's largest and boldest undertaking to date! Featuring an all-star, all-local cast.

The show runs May 9-26, 2013 at Crown Center Off Center Theatre, Level 3. Tickets: $15-29 (816) 842-9999 or www.spinningtreetheatre.com.

Kansas City's newest small professional theatre company inaugurated in April, 2011 as a 501(c)3 not-for-profit, and has produced Kansas City premieres of Donald Margulies' Shipwrecked! An Entertainment - The Amazing Adventures of Louis de Rougemont (As told by Himself), Joan Didion's The Year of Magical Thinking and Make Me a Song: The Music of William Finn as well as The Fantasticks and Master Class.
