Thomas "Fats" Waller rose to international fame during the Golden Age of the Cotton Club, honky tonk dives along Lenox Avenue, rent parties, stride piano players and that jumpin' new beat, Swing. Ain't Misbehavin' celebrates the music that Waller wrote and the music he made famous, and has the distinction of being the only musical revue to ever win the Tony Award for Best Musical.

Director/choreographers Michael Grayman and Andy Parkhurst guide a cast featuring KC jazz favorite Eboni Fondren (Little Shop of Horrors, KC Rep; Hairspray, New Theatre); Ron Lackey (Bud Not Buddy, Coterie); Jennie Greenberry (Shipwrecked!, Spinning Tree; Pippin, KC Rep); Linnaia McKenzie (Ragtime, MET; Spring Awakening, Coterie); and Matthew King (Death of Cupid, Living Room; Ragtime, MET).
