EISENHOWER DANCE, Michigan's premier contemporary dance company, presents its popular program RED, HOT AND BLUE at Wharton Center on February 12, 2014, at 7:30 p.m. RED, HOT AND BLUE includes works by EISENHOWER Artistic Director Laurie Eisenhower and choreographers Michael Foley and Ron de Jesus, including: "Threads," a dance expressing intimacy, passion, and introspection through an ever-evolving series of duets and solos; "Better Places," a fun and bluesy work; and "The Show," a piece inspired by the work of Federico Fellini, whose films depict life as a circus. The performance is completed by Ron de Jesus's "Begin with the End in Mind," a beautiful and romantic work full of interconnected lifts that test the strength and grace of the dancers.
