Today, SHOWTIME announced that prominent political strategist and commentator Steve Schmidt will join the network's heralded weekly political docuseries THE CIRCUS as a recurring on-air contributor when the show returns on Sunday, September 16 at 8 p.m. ET/PT. Schmidt has made previous appearances on THE CIRCUS, offering trenchant insight based on his more than two decades working at the highest levels of national Republican politics. In the show's fall run, Schmidt will join hosts John Heilemann, Alex Wagner and Mark McKinnon as they crisscross the country covering the most high-stakes midterm elections in modern history — with titanic implications for the presidency of Donald Trump.

Omarosa Manigault Newman is sharing another never-before-heard secret audio recording from her time at the White House, exclusively on “The View,” live MONDAY, SEPT. 10 (11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. EDT). She last appeared on the show in January 2017 as a member of the Trump administration and this marks her first appearance on ABC's talk show since her departure.

As the country readies for one of the most consequential midterm elections in recent history, the third season of the groundbreaking political documentary series THE CIRCUS returns with nine new episodes starting on Sunday, September 16 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on SHOWTIME. “Meet the Press with Chuck Todd” (MTP) was the most-watched Sunday show across the board for the month of July, according to Nielsen Media Research data, marking its eighth straight month at #1.
