NBC has announced their primetime schedule for the week of Sunday March 30, 2014 - Saturday April 5, 2014.

Dr. Barbara Ann Teers's National Black Theatre (NBT) will open its 45th Season with the New York Premiere of The Last Saint On Sugar Hill, written by Keith Josef Adkins and directed by Seret Scottannounced NBT's Director of Theatre Arts Program, Jonathan McCrory. Preview performances begin tonight, October 29th at NBT, 2031 Fifth Avenue starting at 7:30pm. The opening night is set for Friday, November 1st at 7pm. The production will run through Sunday, November 24th.

Codeblack Films, a Lionsgate (NYSE: LGF) company, has acquired the U.S. rights to the romantic drama 'Things Never Said,' it was announced today by Codeblack Films CEO Jeff Clanagan.

Ten local high school students from six different cities performed in the August Wilson Monologue Competition (AWMC) Los Angeles regional finals at the Center Theatre Group/Mark Taper Forum, Monday night, March 4, 2013. This Black History Month, BET and CENTRIC will showcase the range, richness and diversity of the African-American experience with an exciting lineup of programming highlighting the cultural contributions of black America.

Singer and actress Christina Milian will guest star on an episode of A GIFTED MAN titled 'In Case of Co-Dependents,' to be broadcast in February. Christina will play Shawnee Baker, a successful pop star suffering from unusual symptoms. This episode will be directed by recurring guest star Eriq La Salle (E-Mo Morris).

This week, on Monday February 22, an all-star cast joined together in Los Angeles for a special benefit reading of 110 Stories at The Geffen Playhouse. Proceeds will go to the Red Cross of Greater Los Angeles. A VIP reception sponsored by South Africa's Cape Classic Wines followed the reading.
