The Martin E. Segal Theatre Center announces the third annual Segal Center Film Festival on Theatre and Performance (FTP). The film festival will take place on Thursday, March 2; Friday, March 3; and Monday, March 6 at The Martin E. Segal Theatre Center, located at The Graduate Center, City University of New York, NYC, 365 Fifth Avenue, at 34th Street.

After being shelved by the British Government in 1945 and following a decades-long residency at Britain's Imperial War Museum, German Concentration Camps Factual Survey, a feature-length documentary film commissioned by the Supreme Headquarters Allied Expeditionary Force (SHAEF) and produced by the late filmmaker Sidney Bernstein, will have its first theatrical run in North America beginning January 6, 2017, at Cinema Village in New York City.

2015 Rooftop Filmmakers Fund Grant Recipients Announced

Rooftop Films has awarded thirteen cash and service grants to alumni filmmakers, including The Rooftop Filmmakers' Fund Garbo NYC Feature Film Grants, which were awarded to directors Kitty Green and Sebastian Silva. Green will receive a monetary grant of $15,000 to help finish her new film, 'Casting JonBenet,' and Silva will receive a $10,000 grant to support his film, 'Demon Me.'
