On May 23rd, 2017 NEWSical The Musical, the 14th longest running Off-Broadway show and 4th longest running musical revue in history, will be celebrating its 2500th performance at Theatre Row.

Producer/Directors Tom and Michael D'Angora are thrilled to announce the new cast members for the current Off-Broadway revival of The Marvelous Wonderettes! 

NEWSical The Musical, the 2011 winner of the Off-Broadway Alliance Award, is excited to celebrate its 2,000th performance tonight, November 2nd, at Theatre Row.

NEWSical The Musical producer Tom D'Angora, who was very active in Hillary Clinton's 2008 campaign, is back on the campaign trail - this time with a little support from the cast of NEWsical! In a new youtube video the cast of NEWSical, with their celebrity impressions, help D'Angora with his fundraising efforts. The video features Christine Pedi (Chicago, Sirius Radio Broadway host), Michael West (When Pigs Fly), Taylor Crousore (Forbidden Broadway), and Meg Lanzarone. Check it out below!

NEWSical The Musical plays daily (except Wednesdays) at Theatre Row on 42nd Street. Kandi Burruss' final performance will be Sunday, January 26th. New York's hottest composers have gotten into bed with lyricist Alex Rubin for her premiere concert, Lyric Tramp: The Songs of Alex Rubin. The concert, which will feature Alex Rubin's lyrics, paired with the music of 8 different composers, will take place on Monday, December 16, 2013 at The Laurie Beechman Theatre (407 W. 42 St, New York, NY).

Literally Alive Theatre's new musical, 'Treasure Island', with music by Michael Sgouros, book and lyrics by Brenda Bell, will open February 11th and run through May 10th at the Players Theatre located at 115 MacDougal Street (between West 3rd and Bleecker) in the West Village. The production, which is based on the classic novel written by Robert Louis Stevenson in 1883, celebrates courage, adventure, and as the character Dr. Livesey says 'the wisdom of youth'. The story follows the tale of Jim Hawkins, played Peter Pan-style by Meg Lanzarone, as a young lad whose life changes forever the day a mysterious old sea captain stubbles into his parents inn. Jim meets suspicious sea men including Black Dog and the blind man Pew, all of whom are after just one thing - the old captains treasure map!
