Massachusetts Institute of Technology has announced It Must Be Now!, a unique immersive music and multimedia event featuring the world premieres of newly commissioned work of three leading jazz artists of our time.

The 2022 Burlington Discover Jazz Festival—produced by the Flynn in association with Burlington City Arts, and presented by New England Federal Credit Union—takes place June 3-12, with events all over Downtown Burlington and beyond. The Flynn will welcome Michael Mwenso, leader of the captivating band Mwenso & The Shakes and co-founder of Electric Root, and his creative partner Jono Gasparro as the curators for this year's festival.

CompCord Jazz Ensemble, part of the new music organization Composers Concordance, will perform on Friday, April 15 as part of the Harlem Jazz Boxx Creative Music Series at Rendall Memorial Presbyterian Church, at West 137th and Malcolm X Blvd.

The Iridium, the world-famous jazz, rock, and blues club best known as the “Home of Les Paul,' today announced that March 1, 2022 will be its new reopening date.

San Diego Repertory Theatre (San Diego REP) announced that Sam Woodhouse will step down as Artistic Director in September 2022 after leading the company for 46 years. At the end of this season, San Diego REP will have produced 333 productions under Woodhouse’s leadership - more than 50 of them were world premieres.

New England Conservatory has announced their spring 2022 Season. Highlights include NEC Wind Ensemble and Choirs offer a 50th anniversary celebration of the Wind Ensemble by presenting Igor Stravinsky's 'Symphony of Psalms,' and the world premiere commission of Chris Brubeck's first wind ensemble piece, 'Fifty'.
