Tony- and Grammy Award-winning actress Jennifer Holliday returns to the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts on Saturday, October 9, 2021, 7:30 pm, as among the first few artists to perform before an audience at the Bram Goldsmith Theater since COVID-19-forced a shutdown in 2020.

GRAMMY Award-winning pianist and NEA Jazz Master Ramsey Lewis continues his live streaming ticketed solo performances with a second season of twelve shows announced for 2021.

Three new shows have been announced at the King Center.

Theatre Communications Group has announced the 2021 TCG 60th Anniversary Gala: Our Stories will be held virtually on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at 7:30pm ET with an afterparty to follow. The Gala will honor Ricardo Khan and the Performing Arts Alliance, and both the Gala and virtual live afterparty will be hosted by drag superstar Shequida.

Music legend Tito Jackson is scheduled to perform at the 2019 Living Legends oundation's (LLF) Annual Awards Dinner and Gala. This year's event will be held on Friday, October 4, 2019, at 6:30 p.m. at Taglyan Cultural Complex, 1201 N. Vine Street, Hollywood, CA.

Raue Center For The Arts is excited to welcome "Shining Star - A Tribute to Earth, Wind & Fire" to the stage at 8 p.m. on March 9, 2019. This tribute is a celebration of the four decade strong success, popularity and resilience of one of the most successful musical stories ever told!

Dawsondancesf and Richard Howell have announced their newest collaboration will take place August 24-25 at the YBCA Theater in San Francisco. Borrowing from the title of Howell's just-released jazz album, Coming of Age-MANGAKU, the program will feature the world premiere of MANGAKU, a work for nine dancers with live musical accompaniment from Howell and guest artists. Rounding out the program is Floating in Mid Air, dawsondancesf and Howell's last collaboration, which received its premiere at San Francisco's Bayview Opera House earlier this year. Tickets, $25 - $65, will go on sale June 1 at dawsondancesf.org.

Refusing to end their 2017/2018 season, Delaware Theatre Company reprises their hit production Maurice Hines is Tappin' Thru Life. Happy to be performing for Wilmington audiences again, tap dancing legend Maurice Hines will wow audiences for one weekend only, Friday, June 1 to Sunday, June 3, 2018.

Award-winning multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, and producer Brian Culbertson is known for his distinct brand of genre-crossing contemporary jazz, R&B, and funk. With love, romance, and his recent 20th wedding anniversary serving as inspiration, Culbertson crafted 13 new songs that will be released as Colors of Love on Valentine's Day. The ensuing three-month US concert tour will make a stop in Columbus, bringing Colors of Love to life in a vivid, theatrical production that incorporates video elements in a major way.

Arena Stage Artistic Director Molly Smith and Executive Director Edgar Dobie are pleased to announce that Broadway legend Maurice Hines will serve as the Master of Ceremonies and international touring artist and global humanitarian Mary McBride will headline the 2018 Arena Stage Gala honoring Mayor Muriel Bowser on Thursday, May 10, 2018 at the Mead Center for American Theater (1101 Sixth St., SW). As previously announced, the Gala features the presentation of the third annual Beth Newburger Schwartz Award to D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser, and will recognize Jessica Stafford Davis as an Emerging Leader. The Gala is helmed by event chairs and Arena Stage Trustees Lavern Chatman and Maggie FitzPatrick.

On the last Sunday of each month, Memphis Black Arts Alliance is delighted to present some of the BEST artists in the area at Jazz-A-F!RE. Come and relax to the cool sounds of house band Prime Cut Trio, house DJ c'beyohn, along with spectacular vocals by host Cequita Monique. The event ends with an invitation to the audience to join the band on stage in the BYOI (Bring Your Own Instrument) for a full-out jam session!
