The Immigrant Arts Coalition, an advocacy support group comprised of New York City-based cultural organizations, hosted its second annual summit from August 5ththrough 8that the Museum of Jewish Heritage in New York City. Entitled the Francesca Cernia Slovin Immigrant Arts & Women's Empowerment Summit, this 4-day summit celebrated immigrants hailing from across the globe who have contributed to America's vibrant cultural mosaic.

Back by popular demand, radio host/standup comic Maureen Langan returns to The Marsh San Francisco for a special limited engagement of her 2017 smash hit Daughter of a Garbageman. This comedic and moving tale was declared one of the "Top 3 Shows of 2017" by Theatre Eddys ("a one-woman tour-de-force, jam-packed with moments to be relished and remembered").

Ronn Vigh previously produced the wildly popular weekly comedy series 'Harvey's Funny Tuesdays' at Harvey's in the Castro for ten years. Funny Tuesdays quickly became a pillar of the Castro and comedy communities. It was a place where you could always expect the unexpected, whether it be a surprise guest appearance by Margaret Cho or a group of naked men standing in front of the windows throughout the whole show. Funny Tuesdays gained a fierce following and also won 'Best Comedy Show in SF' by the Bay Area Reporter's Besties poll.
