In honor of the current Tony Award-winning Broadway production of Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Chef Yigit Pura announced today a limited edition Hedwig and the Angry Inch-inspired macaron. Featuring a flavor profile provided by recent Tony Award winner and current star of the Broadway production, Neil Patrick Harris, the macaron -- called "Hedwig Schmidt" after the title character -- features a bourbon-orange marmalade ganache with a brandied cherry center, covered in edible red glitter. Vermont Pride Theater at Chandler announces its 4th annual Summer Pride Festival of LGBT plays in Randolph, Vermont, this weekend, July 18-20 and 25-27. This season it will offer full productions of three exciting scripts, none of which has been presented before in Vermont. These will be directed and performed by an ensemble of Equity and non-Equity theater artists from across the nation, and presented in Randolph's historic Chandler Music Hall, listed on the National Historic Register.

From April 24-27, 2014, Tectonic Theater Company will present The Laramie Project, by Moises Kaufman and Members of the Tectonic Theater Project and directed by Kelsey Guggenheim. The second-oldest Fringe Festival in th U.S., SF Fringe brings the best of bright, new, edgy performances of theatre, dance, clowning, magic, and other sorts of presentations for three consecutive weekends, from Friday, September 5 to Saturday, September 20 dark on Mondays.) The 35 shows for this year's Fringe were chosen, as always, by lottery from the more than 100 entries received. All Fringe performances will take place in one of the three venues within the EXIT Theatreplex at 156 Eddy Street.
