Theatre Royal Bath Productions announces full casting for Alan Bennett's The Lady in the Van, directed by Jonathan Church, which today began rehearsals ahead of its run at Theatre Royal Bath from Thursday 17 August to Saturday 2 September.

Two of America's leading stage and screen actors come to Chichester this summer for Tennessee Williams' SWEET BIRD OF YOUTH, directed by Jonathan Kent. Celebrated Oscar and Tony Award-winning actor Marcia Gay Harden makes her UK theatre debut as Alexandra, and Brian J. Smith plays Chance. Hollywood's Blank Theatre has announced The Blank Soiree, A Benefit Reunion celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Young Playwrights Festival, on Sunday, June 4 at 6pm.

Showered with rave reviews and following two sold-out runs in 2016, Lee Tannen's incredibly personal, funny, bitter-sweet play "I Loved Lucy" about his 10-year relationship with TV comedy legend Lucille Ball is to transfer to London's Arts Theatre for a strictly limited 7-week season from Wednesday 19 July.

Broadway's Matthew Scott performs a one-night-only show at THE BLACK BOX, downtown Franklin's theater, music and event venue, on Saturday, January 21. Beginning at 8 p.m., the event is the second in THE BLACK BOX Broadway Series, sponsored by Childs Engineering. The series, new this season, kicked off in November with Tony Award winner Beth Leavel.
