Rehearsals started today for the new British musical MRS HENDERSON PRESENTS, starring TRACIE BENNETT (taking over from Janie Dee who has had to withdraw for personal reasons), which concludes the Theatre Royal Bath summer season, Saturday 15th August - Saturday 5th September, prior to a West End run.
Nick Winston began his career as a performer, appearing in the West End productions of Chicago, Fosse, Kiss Me Kate and Disney's Beauty & The Beast. His extensive choreographic work has been seen across Europe, America and Asia. Credits include, Annie (National Tour), Flash Mob (Sadler's Wells), White Christmas (West Yorkshire Playhouse), Calamity Jane (National Tour), Sweeney Todd (The Royal Exchange), Sondheim at 80 (Royal Albert Hall), Loserville (West End), The Wizard of Oz (Royal Festival Hall), The Adventures of Pinocchio (Opera North), Il Turco in Italia (Garsington Opera) & Fortunio (Grange Park Opera).

The Theatre Royal Bath has announced its 2015 Summer Season, 1st July - 5th September, comprising three productions and starring Anita Dobson, Stephanie Cole and Janie Dee.
The West End production of SINGIN' IN THE RAIN will have its final performance at the Palace Theatre on Saturday 8 June 2013 ahead of an extensive UK tour. The production will open at Manchester's Opera House on Wednesday 13 November and move to Cardiff's Wales Millennium Centre for a Christmas and New Year season.
Artistic Director Daniel Evans today unveils Sheffield Theatres' spring season for 2013, which includes two world premieres - Bull, a new play by Mike Bartlett, and This Is My Family, a new musical comedy by Tim Firth; major revivals of D.H. Today, Michael Riedel reports in the New York Post that the show is now aiming to open on Broadway in the Spring of 2013, produced by the RSC themselves and overseen by Andre Ptaszynski, who formerly ran Andrew Lloyd Webber's The Really Useful Group.
Following a sensational sell-out season at The Courtyard Theatre, the RSC's production of MATILDA THE MUSICAL transfered to London's West End and opened November 24 to tremendous critical acclaim, and according to Whatsonstage, plans will soon be made concerning bringing the new musical to Broadway. RSC artistic director Michael Boyd announced at a press conference last week that the Mailda team will travel to New York at the end of January to discuss future Broadway plans.
