Vanessa Kirby took to Instagram to share a photo of herself with Helena Bonham-Carter with the simple caption 'Honoured.' This photo has been taken to be confirmation of the long-speculated casting of Bonham-Carter as Princess Margaret in the Netflix drama The Crown.

This evening (30 December 2017) the West End production of Andrew Lloyd Webber's School of Rock The Musical celebrated 500 performances at the New London Theatre. First Night's Top Ten for 2018 - critic Jeffrey Ellis' annual review of the best in Tennessee theater were revealed last night during a live Facebook broadcast, with the hosts of Midwinter's First Night (Ashley Wolfe, J. Robert Lindsay, Tosha Pendergrast and Ben Pendergrast) announcing the productions and performances recognized among the best of 2017.

Last week, before their performance at the 02 Brixton Academy, PVRIS (Alex Babinski, Lynn Gunn and Brian Macdonald) visited the New London Theatre to swap rock stories and meet with the kids cast of Andrew Lloyd Webber's School of Rock - The Musical. Imogen Bowden, Annabel Gracey, Milano Preston and Phoenix Taylor performed a special rendition of 'Teacher's Pet' from the show and chatted to PVRIS performing on stage and the perks of being a rock star - check it out in the video below!

Nessah Muthy's award-nominated The Host, which follows the life of a Syrian refugee in the UK, will return in February following its acclaimed run at The Yard Theatre.

Today, 23 October 2017, rehearsals begin for the new West End cast of Andrew Lloyd Webber's Olivier award-winning production of School of Rock - The Musical. Stephen Leask, having played the role of alternate Dewey since May this year, will now lead the cast as Dewey Finn from 15 November 2017.

The Foreigner, Larry Shue's battle-of-the-hillbillies farce, brings slapstick situation comedy to Center Stage Theater October 20 22. Produced by Dogstar Theater Company, who introduced themselves to Santa Barbara with last spring's charming rendition of Last Train to Nibroc, The Foreigner spins stereotypic Americana into a physical comedy-based battle between good and evil.

Sometimes, those shows end up almost exactly the same in their new home, with only the most minute changes; others appear to be entirely new pieces. The casts may change; staging may vary. Sometimes certain turns of phrase are edited or altered to make more sense, geographically or in terms of local slang.

Later this month (26 August 2017) Andrew Lloyd Webber will welcome a new group of kids to his Olivier award-winning production of School of Rock - The Musical at the New London Theatre.  Acclaimed by audiences and critics alike, the record breaking West End production of School of Rock - The Musical opened to rave reviews and in April this year the show's 'kids' cast, who play live music on stage at each performance, were the recipients of the Olivier Award for Outstanding Achievement in Music.
