THE PANEL JUMPER LIVE Returns To West Of Lenin In February

Join us for our seventh chapter of The Panel Jumper **LIVE** as we celebrate the magic of sequential storytelling-comic books! Produced in collaboration with West of Lenin, this one-night gala of excruciatingly gifted Seattle-based talent will leave you inspired by all our nerd culture has to offer!

Tour an unexplored melodic universe with new music from singer/songwriter and multi-media artist Brittany Allyson. Witness "Touched for the Very First Time," a short play by Matt Smith (Pittsburgh Playwrights' Theatre and 14/48: The World's Quickest Theatre Festival). Our special industry guest will be Ignatz Award-nominated cartoonist, Co-Founder and Executive Director of Short Run Comix & Arts Festival, Kelly Froh. Immediately thereon you will be gifted by glorious gab with a live recording of the Perfect Bound Podcast. Thrill to a phantasmagorical solo dance piece by The Shotgun Brides series author and outré choreographer Kendra Hayes (Hands of Kali). View the world-premiere screening of our latest episode of The Panel Jumper web series as we crack open the myth and history of Cold War Kaiju in comics and film! We'll close out the evening with some rhapsodic, nerdtastic "sadboylesque" from the scintillating D'Nyall!

Folks, this show will be one for the ages and not to be missed.

Attendees must be at least 18 years of age.

A web series that goes all the way to the rivets to examine the details of comic book history and lore, The Panel Jumper is a quirky documentary-style program that unearths the seldom-celebrated, always colorful tales of comic book culture. Written and co-produced by Cole Hornaday (Boxoffice Magazine, Annex Theatre's Team of Heroes Trilogy and MAP Theatre's Greensward) and Ben Laurance (Caution Zero Network, SketchFest, and Gude/Laurance) this video series has intrigued and inspired name industry notables with their unique blend of history and humor.
