New York Theatre Workshop (NYTW) Artistic Director James C. Nicola and Managing Director William Russo, L.A.

According to the New York Times, the New York Theater Workshop has announced a project being developed by 'South Park' creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone. The two are working with composer Robert Lopez, who won a Tony Award for AVENUE Q. The team is working to create a musical that will run at the New York Theater Workshop from August thru September.

Monday night's Broadway at Birdland saw a sea of theater glitterati, cheering the hilarious rantings of Julie Halston. The star of Hairspray, Gypsy, The Women, Twentieth Century, and founding member of Charles Busch's Theater-in-Limbo, decided, for one night only, to throw caution to the wind and just go crazy with new material, old material and of course new clothes!
