50 SHADES! THE MUSICAL to Open Off-Broadway at Elektra Theatre on 3/12

50 Shades! The Musical - The Original Parody (www.50ShadesTheMusical.com) has announced new dates and opening night at The Elektra Theatre (300 W. 43rd Street). The show will begin performances on Friday, February 21st with opening night set for March 12th. The change was due to a shift in management at the Elektra Theatre, which is now complete. Directed by Al Samuels and Rob Lindley, 50 Shades! the Musical - The Original Parody is produced by Royal Mile Entertainment, Andrew Asnes, Rob Kolson and 50 Shades Tour LLC.

Stephen Spinella, Bill Buell, Gibson Frazier & More to Join Justin Vivian Bond in Classic Stage Company's A MAN'S A MAN

Classic Stage Company, under the leadership of Artistic Director Brian Kulick and Executive Director Greg Reiner, has announced complete casting today for its upcoming new production of Bertolt Brecht's A MAN'S A MAN, which begins performances Friday, January 10 at CSC (136 East 13thStreet). A MAN'S A MAN will be directed by Brian Kulick and features a new score and new songs by Tony Award-winning composer Duncan Sheik. This production continues CSC's exploration of the works of Bertolt Brecht, which began in 2011 with the sold-out production of Galileoand was followed by last season's The Caucasian Chalk Circle (on which Kulick and Sheik also collaborated). Joining previously announcedJustin Vivian Bond (Widow Begbick) are Jason Babinsky (Polly Baker), Bill Buell (Jeraiah Jip), Gibson Frazier (Galy Gay), Martin Moran (Uriah Shelley), Steven Skybell (Jesse Mahoney), Stephen Spinella (Bloody Five), Ching Valdes-Aran (Mr. Wang) and Allan K. Washington (Ensemble). The official opening night is Thursday, January 30. A MAN'S A MAN will play a limited engagement through February 16.

50 SHADES! THE MUSICAL Will Now Begin Off-Broadway in Early 2014

50 Shades! The Musical, the original parody (50ShadesTheMusical.com) has postponed the start of performances because of technical issues with The Elektra Theatre. The financing of the show is in place and a new start date will be announced for early 2014 shortly.

The Musical, the original parody (50ShadesTheMusical.com) will play The Elektra Theatre (669 Eighth Avenue between 42nd and 43rd Street) beginning November 18th with opening night set for Thursday, January 9th. Directed by Al Samuels, 50 Shades! The Musical is produced by Royal Mile Entertainment, Marshall Cordell, and Andrew Asnes.
