Dmitry, a new play, is described as 'After Schiller', but, in its dissection of the ruthless manipulation of a young man aiming for the Tsardom of Russia, one finds parallels more recent blockbusters.

The weather might be cooling, but the West End is heating up. October's theatrical offerings provide an embarassment of riches, with some fantastic shows coming up: from David Tennant as the lead in C.P. Taylor's acclaimed play GOOD to Carrie Hope Fletcher in The Caucasian Chalk Circle at the Rose, to Juliet Stevenson in The Doctor and Elton's John's new musical Tammy Faye.

Chinese Arts Now (CAN) has unveiled an exciting new name and bold new visual identity:  Kakilang (自己人)- 'one of us' in the Hokkien dialect, evoking kinship and affinity - widely used amongst East and Southeast Asian diasporic groups, is the company's new name.

Dmitry (based on the peerless dramatist’s incomplete play Demetrius), will launch the bold new venue’s inaugural season and will star The Crown’s Tom Byrne (The Crown, Netflix; Twelfth Night, RSC; Black Mirror, Netflix) in the title role. The full first season has been announced for Marylebone Theatre, London’s most exciting new venue.  The theatre recently announced its launch production Dmitry, a thrilling production by Peter Oswald, directed by the acclaimed Tim Supple in his return to London theatre.

Marylebone Theatre, an exciting new London cross-arts venue, is launching with a rediscovery of an unfinished visionary work by Friedrich Schiller, which offers a revelatory perspective on the current crisis on Europe’s eastern borders. 

Artistic and Executive Director, Paul Hart today announces the company for his new production of Twelfth Night continuing The Watermill Theatre's bold, ensemble driven approach to Shakespeare. Twelfth Night runs from 6 April to 6 May and in repertoire with Hart's 2016 production of Romeo + Juliet from 18 to 22 July. Both productions will tour nationally from Tuesday 16 May to Thursday 3 August
