Leftfield Productions, Inc. along with Bud Negley, WHY and The Hard Rock Café announce that on Thursday, April 30th 'Neil Berg's 100 Years of Broadway' will perform a fundraising concert in Times Square at the Hard Rock Café featuring Broadway's Rob Evan (Jekyll and Hyde), Rita Harvey (Phantom of the Opera), Steve Blanchard (Beauty and the Beast), Carter Calvert (Ain't Nothin' But the Blues), Danny Zolli (Jesus Christ Superstar), Andrea Rivette (Miss Saigon), Tad Wilson (Rock of Ages), Capathia Jenkins (Martin Short: Fame Becomes Me), Eryn Murman (Spring Awakening) and Gerard Canonico (Spring Awakening). The show will be introduced by Charles Grodin and Vincent Pastore with more special guests to be announced.

Brooklyn Center for the Performing Arts at Brooklyn College welcomes legendary composer/performer and 2008 Theater Hall of Fame inductee Marvin Hamlisch for an elegant evening of unforgettable music on Saturday, April 25, 2009 at 8pm. Mr. Hamlisch holds the distinction of being one of only twelve people to win all four major US performing awards (Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony) and one of only two to have won all four of those plus a Pulitzer Prize (the other being Richard Rogers).

With a new book out, Grodin discusses his work as an actor, director, playwright, activist and commentator.

Presented in association with New York Magazine, four brand new musicals will be written, cast, rehearsed and performed in a single day, featuring an star-studded line up of Broadway performers, composers, writers, directors, choreographers and musical directors.

Bristol Riverside Theatre has announced a change to its final show of the 2008-2009 season and is pleased to present an original production of the Off-Broadway smash, Altar Boyz, from May 12 through May 31. BRT's production brings to Bristol two of the play's creators - Music Director Gary Adler, who co-wrote the music and lyrics, and Director and Tony-nominated Choreographer (and Bristol native) Christopher Gattelli, who handled the original Off-Broadway choreography.

Broadway leading lady Rachel York, most recently seen in the world premiere musical Turn of the Century at the Goodman Theatre in Chicago, has added several new engagements to her symphony concert schedule.
