It was announced today by Broadway at Birdland that Capathatia Jenkins and Louis Rosen's scheduled concert has been cancelled. Press representatives apologized to fans for any inconvenience this cancellation may have caused. Broadway at Birdland will announce a rescheduled date soon.

Jim Caruso's Cast Party is proud to present the jubilant return of acclaimed performing duo 'Capathia Jenkins and Louis Roser' on Monday, October 6, 2008, at 7:00pm. The set is part of the Nightlife Award-winning concert series Broadway at Birdland, long a staple at the legendary club. Today it was announced that GUYS AND DOLLS will open on Broadway for the first time in 17 years in the spring of 2009 at a Nederlander Theatre to be announced. With music and lyrics by Frank Loesser and book by Jo Swerling and Abe Burrows, this production is the first joint Broadway project by director Des McAnuff and Sergio Trujillo since Jersey Boys.

The first Broadway revival of the landmark rock musical will officially open on Broadway at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre (243 West 47th Street) on Thursday, October 23, 2008. Producer Robert Greenblatt announced today that 9 To 5: The Musical, based on the 20th Century Fox motion picture, will begin previews on Broadway Tuesday, March 24, 2009, and will open Thursday, April 23, 2009, at the Marriott Marquis Theatre (1535 Broadway). 9 To 5: The Musical marks the Broadway debut of seven-time Grammy Award winning singer, songwriter and musician Dolly Parton as composer and lyricist. The musical's book by Patricia Resnick is based on her original story and screenplay for the smash 1980 film comedy.
