NJTV, New Jersey's Public Television Network and New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) have collaborated on a second season of American Songbook at NJPAC. The six part series, is being taped in NJPAC's Victoria Theater and broadwayworld was there for last nights concert, which was hosted by Ted Chapin and written and produced by Will Friedwald. Performing last night were Maureen McGovern, Marilyn Maye, Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman. BroadwayWorld brings you photos of the evening below!

Linda Lavin had a triumphant return engagement at Helsinki on Broadway last night. With her music director Billy Stritch, Linda played to a sold out Helsinki Hudson crowd. Joining Linda was husband Steve Bakunas on drums, Tom Hubbard on bass, Ron Afif on guitar and special guest, Jazz violinist Aaron Weinstein. Jim Caruso was Linda's special surprise for the Hudson audience. BroadwayWorld was there for this special one night only concert.

She brings her new show, Spring is Here, to The Carlyle for a limited five-night engagement, through April 19.

Monday night, for two astonishing SOLD OUT performances, Joe's Pub became the backdrop for BroadwayWorld.com's 10th Anniversary celebration. The show conceived by Robert Diamond and Richard Jay-Alexander boasted talent from Broadway and beyond.

For the third year in a row Marilyn Maye brings back her exciting 'By Request' format for a week of raucous revelry after ringing out 2013 with back-to-back shows on New Year's Eve. Maye's remarkable performances will be accompanied by pianist/conductor Billy Stritch, bassist Tom Hubbard, and drummer Ray Marchica. The party doesn't stop until Sunday January 12. Last night, Casey Nicholaw and Josh Marquette hosted a cocktail event to benefit the Matthew Shepard Foundation at One Museum Mile (1280 Fifth Avenue). Attendees included Broadway luminaries Jeff Blumenkrantz, Danny Burstein, Carolee Carmello, Jeanine Tesori and Michael James Scott, and stars of HGTV's Selling New York Tom Postilio and Mickey Conlon. The event raised over $7,500 for the Matthew Shepard Foundation.

On Monday, September 9, the Broadway at Birdland concert series presented the return of Steven Brinberg as Simply Barbra in 'Mostly Marvin,' with very special guest star, Erik Altemus. Musical director for the event was Christopher Denny. Scroll down for photos from the evening!

Williamstown Theatre Festival just opened the sixth production of the 2013 Main Stage season: The World Premiere musical, The Bridges of Madison County, on the Main Stage. Playing through August 18, the show began preview performances on August 1. BroadwayWorld was there for opening night and you can check out photos from the after party below!
