Tony winner Mark Rylance is taking on The Pope.

Tony Award nominated actor Tom Wopat (A Catered Affair, Annie Get Your Gun) will lead the cast for industry readings of AMERICAN INHERITANCE, a new play by Bob Stewart.

Hampstead Theatre presents the world premiere of Howard Brenton's Lawrence after Arabia, commissioned to mark the centenary of the start of the Arab revolt, which previews from 28 April. Directed by John Dove, the full cast features Sam Alexander, William Chubb, Geraldine James, Khalid Laith, Jack Laskey, Rosalind March and Jeff Rawle.

The all-new trailer for Disney's THE BFG includes new, never-before-seen footage of the BFG (Big Friendly Giant).

As expected, the 40th anniversary Olivier Awards showered trophies on the sensational Gypsy. Imelda Staunton and Lara Pulver's performances and Mark Henderson's lighting were recognised, and the production took Best Musical Revival. The winners of the Olivier Awards 2016 with MasterCard, the most prestigious event in the UK theatrical calendar, were announced tonight (Sunday 3 April 2016) at the star-studded ceremony held at London's Royal Opera House.

The Royal Lyceum Theatre, Edinburgh is delighted to announce full casting for its epic production of the classical Greek poem, The Iliad, directed by its Artistic Director, Mark Thomson. Olivier Award nominee Melody Grove, currently nominated for 'Best Actress in a Supporting Role' for her critically acclaimed performance alongside Mark Rylance in Farinelli and the King in London's West End last winter, will perform in this lavish and visceral production that explores the basic human emotions of love, jealousy and revenge against the backdrop of the Trojan War. This will be Thomson's final production, as Artistic Director, after 13 years at Scotland's largest producing theatre. The Iliad will run from 20 April to 14 May.

Inside, the Wales-based international company will immerse audiences of all ages in Bianco,a gorgeous spectacle directed by Firenza Guidi. As a live rock band plays and audiences are shepherded through the space, promenade-style, the company of 35 performers and technicians creates awe-inspiring images of prowess and daring. 'This is circus as an event, aiming for grand physical/visual poetry, while at the same time exuding a huge, restless party vibe,' wrote London's The Times in a review of Bianco at the Edinburgh Festival. Continuing its commitment to introducing New York to great international artists, St. Ann's presents the work's American premiere-NoFit State Circus's North American debut-May 3-29.

Today St. Ann's Warehouse announced its partnership with TodayTix, the free mobile app that provides on-demand access to the best last-minute theater tickets, to launch the first ever rush ticketing platform offering $30 tickets for every show of St. Ann's Warehouse hit Inaugural Season in its new Brooklyn waterfront theater beginning Tuesday, March 15.
