I'm a Good Little Devil is a cabaret revue about the early Broadway music hall era full of glamour, fun, and joy! This show is divided into seven scenes and ten costumes, recreating some of the best success of Gaby Deslys, a world acclaimed singer and dancer of the belle epoque. She was a modern emancipated woman, and free of the conventions of her time. She introduced Paris to the world of jazz with her revue 'Laisse, les tomber!' in 1917, but suddenly died at the age of 39. The show consists of three characters and a piano. We have the gorgeous French Perrine Cabassud, Soprano, as Gaby Deslys, the handsome and elegant Jean-Christophe Born, T nor and the delirious Mark Nadler, at the piano. The songs are performed in English, in their original versions. Mark Nadler, was elected best showman performer in New York in 2015 and he has rewritten and rearranged the music, making these ragtime and early jazz tunes as exciting as possible for today's audience!
Everyone knows Hugh Hefner, but the man at Hefner's side for all those ground-breaking Playboy years was Victor Lownes, who passed away January 11, 2017. A Celebration of this extraordinary man's life was organized by The Mabel Mercer Foundation and Victor's wife Marilyn Cole Lownes. It was quite fitting, since Victor Lownes and Hugh Hefner bonded at the beginning of Playboy Magazine because of their love of the cabaret artist Mabel Mercer.
The Mabel Mercer Foundation has announced that it will implement a special 'Rush' ticket policy for their 2017 Cabaret Convention, to be held at Frederick P. Rose Hall, Jazz at Lincoln Center, from Monday through Thursday, October 16th - 19th.

Bethel Woods Center for the Arts continues to grow and diversify programming held in its most intimate venue - the indoor Event Gallery. This summer, the beloved Bradstan Cabaret Series returns with three unique performances featuring Ann Hampton Callaway on July 8, Mark Nadler on August 20, and Scott Samuelson and Jeanne MacDonald on September 16. Then this fall, PLAY: The Classics returns with the Manhattan Chamber Players on September 14, Borislav Strulev and Friends on September 28, and ZOFO on October 19. The Metropolitan Room presents Stacy Sullivan's A Night at the Troubadour -Presenting Elton John and David Ackles, which explores one night in the life of the late David Ackles, a singer-songwriter who recorded four highly regarded albums between 1968 and 1973. Along the way, he gathered a group of ardent fans including Phil Collins, Elvis Costello and Elton John, for whom Ackles opened at the Troubadour in a twist of fate on August 25, 1970.

Celebrated nightclub singer Marta Sanders returns to The Laurie Beechman Theatre, 407 West 42nd Street, in "Follow Me," her new show that was seen in a short run last year. With Mark Nadler directing, the upcoming four-week major engagement of "Follow Me" performs on Thursday February 2; Saturday February 11; Thursday February 16, and Saturday February 25, all at 7pm.
Two of cabaret's favorite and most-acclaimed merrymakers - KT Sullivan and Mark Nadler - are coming together to headline New Year's Eve at Pangea this year.
Stacy Sullivan will reprise her show A Night at The Troubadour - Presenting Elton John and David Ackles, in two performances this winter at TRIAD (January 9th, 9pm - an APAP showcase, open to the public) and Metropolitan Room (February 9th, 7pm). In addition, she will bring her award winning, It's a Good Day- A Tribute to Miss Peggy Lee, to the Sheen Center in Greenwich Village in a benefit for Astor's Lawrence F. Hickey Center for Child Development on Saturday, Feb. 4th at 7 pm.
