New York Stage and Film's 2010 season kick-off with a meet and greet of the cast and creative team of We Are Here. The show premieres on June 29, 2010 at Vassar College's Powerhouse Theatre.

Vassar & New York Stage and Film is pleased to announce the cast of the world premiere play WE ARE HERE (June 29 - July 11) by Tracy Thorne, directed by Tony nominee Sheryl Kaller (Next Fall), the first of two fully-staged and designed Powerhouse Mainstage productions for the 2010 season.

The Monkey Show, written an directed by John Patrick Shanley will be playing at the Lucille Lortel Theater for one-night-only on May 10. Serving as a fundraiser for LAByrinth Theater Company, the show will be co-hosted by Jackie Judd and Peter Picard.

Sing for Hope (www.singforhope.org), a public service organization for artists, has joined forces with Yale University to present an evening of song performed by distinguished Yale alumni. The second annual Songs for Our Future concert will take place in honor of Yale's 'Day of Service' as a benefit for Sing for Hope's Art U! program, which brings dynamic arts and leadership education to underserved New York City youth.

New York Stage and Film (SAF) celebrated its 25th anniversary with its annual winter gala on December 13th at 7:00pm at The Plaza Hotel (770 Fifth Avenue). Julianna Margulies and Marc Platt were honored for their extraordinary achievements in theater, film and television, as well as their ongoing commitment to live performance and support of New York Stage and Film.
