A perfumed letter, a seedy hotel and a pack of wacky characters bring 1907 Paris to Delaware in the Resident Ensemble Players (REP) production A Flea in Her Ear, a new version of Georges Feydeau's farce, written by David Ives, Mar. 1 through Mar. 18, in the Roselle Center for the Arts, Newark, DE. Internationally renowned director, Mark Lamos, returns to the REP to stage the bawdy bedroom comedy.

Theatre for a New Audience (TFANA; Jeffrey Horowitz, Founding Artistic Director) announces the full cast and creative team for William Shakespeare's tragicomedy The Winter's Tale, directed by OBIE Award-winner Arin Arbus. The production plays March 13-April 15, 2018, at Polonsky Shakespeare Center (262 Ashland Place), TFANA's home in the Brooklyn Cultural District.

Westport Country Playhouse will present a Script in Hand playreading of the award-winning drama, "The Whipping Man" by Matthew Lopez, a tale of loyalty, deceit, and deliverance, on Monday, March 19, at 7 p.m. The reading will be directed by Anne Keefe, Playhouse associate artist and curator of the playreading series. Tickets are $20 each.

Westport Country Playhouse will present "Pinkalicious, the Musical," based on the bestselling book from Victoria and Elizabeth Kann, as part of its Family Festivities Series for three performances on Sunday, March 11, at 11 a.m., 1 p.m., and 4 p.m. Produced by Vital Theatre Company, the one-hour production is appropriate for ages 2 through 7. Tickets are $20. Audience members are invited to dress as their favorite "Pinkalicious" character.

Westport Country Playhouse will host the second annual 'Letters to Our Daughters,' a free-of-charge event to celebrate International Women's Day, on Thursday, March 8, at 7 p.m. A diverse group of 13 women, including Tony Award winners Joanna Gleason and Judith Ivey, and 'This Is Us' series regular Susan Kelechi Watson, will read essays and poems written by female authors on global women's issues.

Alec Baldwin and Kelli O'Hara will star in Westport Country Playhouse's Spring Gala performance of A. R. Gurney's play, 'Love Letters,' on Thursday, April 12, at 7 p.m. The one-night-only, $250 per ticket fundraising event will honor the memory of playwright A. R. 'Pete' Gurney, who was a consistent contributor to the Playhouse stage, with 21 works produced there from 1980 through 2016. Gurney died last June at age 86.
