The Old Globe today announced the cast and creative team of its 23rd annual production of Dr. Seuss's How the Grinch Stole Christmas!, which this year will be presented by KPBS Radio in San Diego as a free audio-only production. Due to the ongoing pandemic, The Old Globe is unable to produce the San Diego favorite on its stage this year.

Bay Area Musicals has announced the full cast and creative team for the Company's penultimate 2019-2020 production, the game-changing Broadway masterpiece A CHORUS LINE. Winner of nine 1976 Tony Awards® (including a?oeBest Musicala??) and the Pulitzer Prize for Drama, A CHORUS LINE features music by Marvin Hamlisch, lyrics by Edward Kleban and a book by James Kirkwood Jr. and Nicholas Dante. A CHORUS LINE was conceived and originally directed and choreographed by Michael Bennett. Bay Area Musicals' production of A CHORUS LINE runs from April 11 a?" May 10, 2020 and will perform at San Francisco's Alcazar Theatre (650 Geary St, San Francisco, CA 94102). The press opening will take place on Saturday, April 11, 2020 at 8:00 p.m. Regular tickets range from $35 - $85 and can be purchased online at www.bamsf.org/a-chorus-line. In a working partnership approaching three decades, composer Stewart Copeland and librettist Jonathan Moore bring their latest opera 'Electric Saint' to Kunstfest Weimar in September of 2020. The project is a co-commission of the innovative Kunstfest alongside Deutsches Nationaltheater Weimar (DNT). The world premiere performance will take place at Deutsches Nationaltheater Weimar on September 6, 2020, with seven subsequent performances in Weimar.
