McCarter Lab Fall Festival Features Unstaged Readings by Leading and Emerging US Playwrights, 10/29-11/4

The McCarter Lab Fall Festival 2012 will feature some of the leading and emerging playwrights of the American theater from October 29 through November 4, in a series of unstaged readings and special events in celebration of the artist's work. Rehearsals are underway for the world premiere of Danai Gurira's The Convert at McCarter Theatre Center in Princeton, NJ, January 13 through February 12, 2012 (press opening: January 20). Directed by Emily Mann, The Convert is produced in association with Center Theatre Group (Los Angeles) and The Goodman Theatre (Chicago). The cast features Pascale Armand, Cheryl Lynn Bruce, Zainab Jah, Kevin Mambo, LeRoy McClain, Warner Joseph Miller, and Harold Surratt.

Derby Day runs from November 30 to December 17, 2011 in a limited engagement at The Clurman Theatre, located in the Theatre Row Complex at 410 West 42nd Street between 9th and 10th Avenues in New York City. Previews begin November 30 for a December 1 opening.
