Theater Reconstruction Ensemble (John Kurzynowski, Artistic Director; Reed Whitney, Producing Director) proudly presents the World Premiere of You On The Moors Now, written by Jaclyn Backhaus and directed by John Kurzynowski. You On The Moors Now runs from February 13 - 28, 2015 in a limited engagement at HERE, located at 145 6th Avenue (Enter on Dominick, 1 block south of Spring) in New York City.

Theater Reconstruction Ensemble will present the World Premiere of You On The Moors Now, written by up and coming playwright Jaclyn Backhaus, whose credits include Men On Boats (Clubbed Thumb/Playwrights Horizons SUPERLAB), Folk Wandering (Ars Nova/Joe's Pub) and The Incredible Fox Sisters (Ice Factory). The show is directed by John Kurzynowski (Artistic Director of TRE), with a cast that includes Anastasia Olowin (The Killer with Theatre for a New Audience) and Jon Riddleberger (National tour of War Horse with National Theatre).

The music, a soulful fusion of R&B, gospel, and musical theatre exquisitely sews together quick humor with alarming tragedy. Appealing to lovers of Greek drama and good music alike, Pyre Cantata is a fiery new twist on a centuries-old myth.

Dr. Barbara Ann Teers's National Black Theatre (NBT) will open its 45th Season with the New York Premiere of The Last Saint On Sugar Hill, written by Keith Josef Adkins and directed by Seret Scottannounced NBT's Director of Theatre Arts Program, Jonathan McCrory. Preview performances begin tonight, October 29th at NBT, 2031 Fifth Avenue starting at 7:30pm. The opening night is set for Friday, November 1st at 7pm. The production will run through Sunday, November 24th.

Blacken The Bubble will officially open tonight, October 13, 2012 at 7:00 pm.
