Valentina Kozlova's Dance Conservatory of New York returns to Symphony Space with Kozlova's charming one-hour production of Tchaikovsky's 'Nutcracker Suite,' two performances Saturday December 18 at 3 PM & 6 PM.  

‘Tis the season for great theater! BroadwayHD, the premiere streaming service for theater fans, is welcoming an exciting new lineup of classic movie musicals this month that every theater fan will love.

In Kristin's Korner, join Kristin Huffman- Artistic Director of New Paradigm Theatre and Broadway Veteran (Broadway: 'Company' as Sarah- flute, sax and piccolo) as she interviews directors, teachers, real estate agents, casting directors, producers, tax consultants, lawyers, actors, and more professionals who will discuss changes and challenges in the entertainment business.

Featured dancers are Katherine St. Jean and Mary Eisener, both recipients of awards at international ballet competitions, and guest Albert Davidov. Other dancers will be drawn from Kozlova's ballet school, where her teaching method combines the Bolshoi School with Balanchine methods of training, and the cast includes several remarkable young dancers who have won medals in ballet competitions around the world. 

Hubbard Street Dance Chicago has selected Linda-Denise Fisher-Harrell as its Artistic Director, following an executive search process led by Arts Consulting Group. She will begin her tenure on March 1, 2021.

New York Theatre Ballet will present LIFT Lab Live, featuring live performances of new choreography, from October 21-November 14, 2020 at St. Marks's Church-in-the-Bowery, 131 East 10th Street (entrance on 11th Street), 2nd floor, with performances Wednesdays at 12pm & 8pm, Fridays at 8pm, and Saturdays at 7pm. Tickets are $20 general admission.

Both performances will be held in the Sitnik Theatre of the Lackland Performing Arts Center at 715 Grand Ave. Hackettstown, NJ.

Bernstein Concert Series- featuring John Cariani (The Band's Visit; Tony nominee Fiddler on the Roof), Donna Lynne Champlin (Crazy Ex-Girlfriend; Sweeney Todd; Obie Award for TG's The Dark at the Top of the Stairs), Jessica Fontanta (Cinderella; TG's Once Upon a Mattress), Santino Fontana (Crazy Ex-Girlfriend; Tootsie ; Tony nominee Cinderella), Stanley Bahorek (Amazing Grace, Queen of the Mist), Lauren Blackman (Anastasia), Hannah Corneau (Hedwig and the Angry Inch), Marc Kudisch (Finding Neverland, Hand to God), Sean McLaughlin (Hello Dolly), Bruce Sabath(Cagney), Tally Sessions (War Paint), and Ali Stroker (Spring Awakening).

The New Orleans Ballet Association (NOBA) presents one of America's most prestigious companies, Hubbard Street Dance Chicago (HSDC), for one performance only on Saturday, April 7 at 8 p.m. at the Mahalia Jackson Theater of the Performing Arts. An audience favorite back by popular demand and celebrating 40 years as a driving force of American contemporary dance, the company returns with a special anniversary program of master works from four decades of the company's illustrious history.

The 8th annual Kozlova International Ballet Competition will take place March 26-30 at Symphony Space, NYC.   More than 100 dancers from around the world, from Belgium, Brazil, Canada, China, Croatia, Finland, France, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Mexico, South Korea, USA, and Venezuela will gather in NYC to dance for scholarships to international schools, company contracts, and other awards before a distinguished jury led by Andris Liepa, former principal dancer of the Bolshoi Ballet and guest with ABT, NYCB, and other international companies.

Pennsylvania Ballet Artistic Director Angel Corella has announced the roster for the 2017/2018 Season with the additions of Corps de Ballet member Zecheng Liang, and new Apprentices Federico D'Ortenzi, Erin O'Dea, Taro Kurachi, and Cassidy McAndrew (previous member of Pennsylvania Ballet II).

The Valentina Kozlova International Ballet Competition hosted just under 200 dancers from countries around the world for the June 6-10 event at Symphony Space, New York City.  The rich display of international talent was breathtaking as dancers in four categories, ages 11 to 26, performed for medals, scholarships to dance academies around the world, and company contracts with the Boston Ballet, Cincinnati Ballet, and Columbia Classical Ballet.
