LECTURE, WITH CELLO, by ROBERT MOULTHROP, is a one-person drama with absurdist echoes; a skewed version of music history becomes the platform for an exploration of the conjunction of madness, violence & art. KENT PAUL directs this AEA Approved Showcase Production, featuring TIMOTHY BABCOCK as 'The Professor.'

America's only honor recognizing excellence in dance on both stage and film, the Fred & Adele Astaire Awards honored some of the greatest talents in dance on Monday, June 2nd.

The event was a special toast to nine time Tony award winner Tommy Tune who will receive the group's Douglas Watt Lifetime Achievement Award presented by Brooke Shields at the awards gala benefiting The Auditory Oral School of New York.

Dancers Over 40 members have worked with many choreographers, but almost none as often as the award-winning Director/Choreographer Gower Champion. On Monday, March 31st at 7:30 pm, some of the dancers and the creative talents associated with Mr. Champion, from 1951's 'Make a Wish' to his last Broadway show the smash hit musical '42nd Street' in 1980, will be represented on the stage of the St. Luke's Theater at 308 West 46th Street.

Broadway legend Chita Rivera is coming to Boston to be honored for her stage and screen achievements at Boston Youth Moves' annual fundraising gala, Swellegance.
