This will be the 30th season presented by the company, created by Mr. Domingo in collaboration with Richard Seaver Music Director James Conlon and President and CEOChristopher Koelsch. The company's 30th anniversary season will include six mainstage productions and two concerts at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, with a total of 40 performances taking place in that venue, as well as 13 performances presented elsewhere through the company's Off Grand initiative. The season will open onSeptember 12, 2015, and will run through June 19, 2016.
Celebrating the vibrant art of dance, Dance Camera West presents the 13th Annual Dance Media Film Festival, a public event incorporating dance explored through film, live performance, and architectural art. Several free live dance performances, an outdoor movie screening, a family-fun Dance-Along, Lester Horton Dance Awards ceremony, and over 20 shorts and long-form films and documentaries to be screened during the festival taking place in downtown Los Angeles today, June 6 and June 7, 8, and 13, 2014.

The Los Angeles Master Chorale, a cultural icon heralded around the globe for its exceptional artistry, pulls out the stops for an extraordinary 50th Anniversary Season Celebration the last weekend of January featuring two performances of Bach's incomparable B Minor Mass, considered one of the greatest works in the choral repertoire and the first piece the Chorale performed on its inaugural concert in 1965, as well as a spectacular gala extravaganza, "Golden on Grand," which celebrates the Chorale's remarkable legacy over the past five decades. The Bach B Minor Mass concerts, conducted by Music Director Grant Gershon, are Saturday, January 25, 2 pm, and Sunday, January 26, 7 pm, at the Walt Disney Concert Hall. "Golden on Grand" is Saturday, January 25, 6 pm, at the Eva and Marc Stern Grand Hall of the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, the Chorale's home for 37 years until it moved to Walt Disney Concert Hall in 2003.

In response to strong ticket demand, General Director Plácido Domingo has announced today that LA Opera has scheduled an additional performance of Mozart's The Magic Flute, conducted by Music Director James Conlon, on December 13 at 8:30pm to accommodate audiences who would otherwise be left out.
