On Monday, July 24, Birdland Jazz Club celebrated the landmark 20th Anniversary of its wildly popular weekly open mic night/variety show “Jim Caruso’s Cast Party.” The evening featured regular favorites, as well as special surprise guests. As usual, music director Billy Stritch held court at the ivories, along with Steve Doyle on bass and Daniel Glass on drums. Check out photos here!

Club 11 London and The Hippodrome are pleased to announce american composer Jonathan Reid Gealt is returning to London on 16th February 2017at his first concert at the London Hippodrome Casino. He will be joined* by Natalie Weiss, Craig Colton, Rebecca Trehearn and Andy Coxon along side the Club 11 London band, lead by Marc McBride. Other guests are to be announced.

When the orchestra began to play the opening number - Leigh Harline and Ned Washington's Disney signature song, 'When You Wish Upon A Star' - the music began to swell and swirl around the space of the Actors' Church in a way that clearly promised that this was going to be an evening of musical magic. Robert Gould reports on actor/singer Andrew Bateup's charity concert Run, Fat Boy, Run at the Actors' Church, Covent Garden as part of his fundraising for Scope UK in conjunction with his participation in the 2014 Virgin London Marathon.

Back by popular demand, the SONGBIRDS return to the award winning Battersea Barge (www.batterseabarge.com), this time delivering a night of soul, featuring some of the West End's most exciting female vocal talent. All funds raised will go to the British Heart Foundation, the charity that one of our Songbirds, Emma Hatton, is running the London Marathon for in April. The concert will take place 23rd February 2014 at 7:30pm. Doors open at 6:45pm.

Sam Kelly returns to play The Wizard, a role he previously played in 2009/2010. Katie Rowley Jones (Nessarose) and Sam Lupton (Boq) continue in their current starring roles. Emma Hatton is the Standby Elphaba and current ensemble cast member Sophie Linder-Lee is now the Standby Glinda.

WICKED, the smash hit musical that tells the untold story of the Witches of Oz, is pleased to announce that Ben Freeman (Fiyero), Louise Plowright (Madame Morrible), Sam Lupton (Boq), Hayley Gallivan (Standby Elphaba) and Lucy van Gasse (Standby Glinda) will all join the London cast from Monday 29 October 2012, together with Katie Rowley Jones who will return to star as Nessarose, the role she originated in 2006.
