Pilkington And Tucker Head Cast Of GIGGIN4GOOD: A CHRISTMAS CRACKER, Union Theatre, Dec 8

A white Christmas will be viewed with a tint of green at the Union Theatre on Sunday December 8 when Giggin4Good - A Christmas Cracker will be headlined by Wicked alumni Dianne Pilkington and Rachel Tucker.

Dianne Pilkington originated the role of Kim in Taboo and her many other West End credits include roles in Les Miserables, The Far Pavilions, The Beautiful Game and, of course, a three year run as Glinda in Wicked. She is currently playing Donna Sheridan in Mamma Mia at the Novello Theatre.

Rachel Tucker shot to fame as a semi-Finalist in Andrew Lloyd Webber's BBC show I'd Do Anything before going on to play Meat in We Will Rock You at the Dominion Theatre and Elphaba in Wicked. She won the What' Award for Best Takeover In A Role for her performance as Elphaba and was recently nominated for a BWW Award as Best Featured Actress In A New Production Of A Play for her performance in Farragut North at the Southwark Playhouse.

Giggin4Good was founded by children's nannies Emma Howe, Karen Howe and Hayley Guild in 2011 in order to raise money for Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital. Their first concert was presented at the Actors' Church in Covent Garden in July 2011 and was followed by further concerts in February and October 2012 and by Giggin4Good: Summertime in August 2013 (a hugely successful event which has been nominated for a BWW Award for Theatrical Event Of The Year).

Giggin4Good: A Christmas Cracker, co-produced by the Giggin4Good founders and actor/singer Shaun McCourt, is already a sell-out and will celebrate Christmas with festive songs both old and new performed by Pilkington, Tucker and a cast of West End and Off-West End vocalists, including:

Marcus Ayton, Andrew Bateup, Charlotte Bradford, Lucyelle Cliffe, Harry Cooper-Millar, Goldstone Girls, Natalie Gray, Anna Haresnape, Kim Ismay, Benjamin Vivian-Jones, Rosie Ladkin, Jordan Langford, Nathan Lodge, Leigh Lothian, Shaun McCourt, Jane Milligan, Ciaran O'Driscoll, Katie Paine, Jennifer Potts, Jodie Steele, Joe Sterling, Gary Wood.

The line-up will be completed by David Booth and ElAnna White - winners of an online competition voted for by the public - who will join together to sing a Christmas duet.

The musical director for the cabaret will be actor/musician Marc McBride (who was Tour Musical Director for the UK Tour of Save The Last Dance For Me and is currently First Cover Boq in Wicked at the Apollo Victoria.)

Union Theatre, Southwark on Sunday December 8 at 7.30pm.
